PAINTING and DECORATING Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship is a mixture of work based and college training; you'll earn money whilst you learn a trade. All of our Apprenticeships are industry approved to ensure you gain the skills you’ll need throughout a sustained career.

The Painting and Decorating apprenticeship scheme will qualify you as a professional Painter and Decorator as well as giving you the option to gain further industry recognised qualifications or progress to an advanced level.

TRAINING - 2 TO 3 YEARS

You will be involved with tasks such as:

- Painting
- Cutting In
- Masking Out Areas
- Stripping and Preparing Surfaces
- Measuring, Cutting and Hanging Wallpaper

The work can be done indoors or outdoors, so you should be prepared to brave the weather and travel to various sites. It involves working at heights, bending, kneeling, crouching etc.

It's not all about big jobs either - you'll get the chance to show off your artistic side as well.

Our company are H&S accredited with CHAS, SSIP and CQMS giving our customers confidence that we take the safety of our workforce, customers and third parties very seriously.

Detailed site specific method statements and risk assessments are also compiled for every project giving peace of mind to all our clients.

Our insurance cover is:

  • Employers Liability: £10,000,000 for any one accident or occurrence (5m for Terrorism).

  • Public/Products Liability: £5,000,000 for any one accident or occurrence.
